What Do We Teach?

Here are some of the topics we have taught on in our Sunday morning services:

An exegesis (bringing out the full meaning of the original language) of Hebrews 10:25 - Don't let down about meeting together, but do it more so, because we can see the day that is approaching.

The scriptures are given by inspiration to outfit us for all the good works God has prepared for us.  He doesn't call the equipped, He equips the called.

Jesus was accused of being the friend of sinners, and His accusers were correct.  A friend loves at all times, stays closer than a brother, and is born for adversity.

What does it mean to be loved by God?  There are four Greek words for love, and we are called to love others, our enemies, and ourselves, with agape, godly love.

Jude told us to build ourselves up ON our most holy faith (verse 20) and faith comes by hearing the word of God.  This makes our assembling together of vital  importance.

"What God has to say about what God has to say."  From beginning to end, the Bible is the Word of God which speaks about the power of the Word of God - receive it and live by it.

As believers, our future will lead to one of these results, neither of which involves God's wrath.  We may die or we may be caught up to meet Him in the air, but we will not face the tribulation at the end of this age.

What does the resurrection mean to us?  From Genesis to Revelation, we see God's plan that our Savior would rise from the dead.  The resurrection proves Jesus is the Son of God, so we can trust that His promises to us are true.
